Before you start
Your meeting must be published for the summarization option to be available.

How summarizing the board pack works
The tool summarizes all documents included in your board pack.
Each agenda section is summarized into its own paragraph, aligned to the structure of your meeting.
You can add a custom prompt to refine or optimize the output.
Using prompts to refine summaries

BoardCloud encourages the use of prompts to customize summaries based on your role, level of detail, or focus area. With the right prompt, you can:
- Adjust the level of complexity (for example, high-level or more detailed)
- Tailor summaries to the reader’s expertise
- Request specific formats or perspectives
Common examples include:
- Executive summaries for high-level overviews
- Technical briefs for specialized or operational topics
- Bullet-point summaries for quick scanning
- Risk-focused summaries highlighting compliance issues and mitigation strategies
Example prompt:
“Summarize each section into clear bullet points, highlighting key decisions, risks, and actions.”
After generating a summary
Once generated, you can review and refine the summary if needed and use it as a quick reference during meetings or for post-meeting follow-ups.
There is also an option to copy the text and paste it into another document, email, or report

Tip: AI-generated summaries are designed to support preparation and understanding. Always refer back to the original documents for full context and detail.
