Understanding the Phases of a Meeting

Every meeting in BoardCloud moves through a series of stages during its lifecycle. As the meeting progresses, the meeting page will update to reflect the current stage, and different features will become available.

Understanding these phases helps members know what to expect and what actions they can take at each stage of the meeting.

An Unpublished Meeting

Members can RSVP, see invited members, and access meeting resources, but the agenda, board pack, and some content aren’t yet available.

A Published Meeting

Members can view the agenda, board pack, documents, tasks, and voting options. Forms and annotations are also accessible once the meeting is published.

A Meeting in Progress

Members can review documents, vote, complete forms, and manage tasks directly within the active meeting.

Closed Meeting

Members can view invited members, meeting resources, board pack, tasks, and chat, but RSVPs, agenda items, and voting are no longer available.
