Changing a Member's Email Address

From time to time, you may need to update a member’s email address in BoardCloud.

This process is straightforward, but it’s important to note that the new email address must be verified in the same way as any new member email address. Verification ensures the new mailbox is valid before the member can log in.

When you select Change Email Address, the 5th option under the profile picture, a popup will appear where you can enter the new address.

Once submitted, the member’s account status changes to Unconfirmed. This means the member will not be able to log in until the new email address is verified.

A Welcome Email is sent to the new address.

The member must click the link in the Welcome Email and set a password. Only then will they be able to log in using the new email address.

Important: The previous email address will no longer work for logging in once the change has been made.
