Publish History

As part of its governance functions, BoardCloud maintains a running history of packets and minutes stored in either draft or published form against a meeting.

To manage and record this process, BoardCloud makes use of three possible states of publication that are applied to board packets and minutes.

These states are:

  • Draft (document is not published)
  • Published (document is published and visible to members of the meeting)
  • Superseded (document was previously published but has been unpublished and a newer version is available)

The tracking of versions in the system can be visualized by opening the publish history dialog pop up.

In the above image, it can be seen that a single published pack and a single meeting minutes document has been published.

In the event of an error or omission being discovered in either of these documents, they could be unpublished and then when a new version is published the previous version will be tagged as 'superseded'.
